STATION is one of the hottest new bands to come out of New York City. A high voltage stage show with electrifying melodies make STATION an unforgettable experience.
A criminally underrated album of a criminally underrated and underexposed genre. The production values here are so authentically 1980s. A good balance of traditional hard rock, synths, and strong melodies, with a spooky yet nostalgic feel, with the songs carefully curated for a strong experience start to finish. For those lonely nights, stuck in your bedroom, reminiscing days gone by: listen to this. cosmopolis
I told myself I'd review when I could pick a favourite song. I still can't really pick one -- it'd be easier to list the ones I like the least, but even they've grown on me to a point where I want to listen to them frequently ("Funky Bonez", I'm lookin' you!). At a push it's probs "I Need Lovin'" that beats the rest -- there's just something special about it.
There's something special about the whole album, really. I love the different influences in it.
Guys, keep doin' you!♡ Ashley
This album catches you from the opening of the 1st track. IMHO, I prefer instrumental synthwave overall, & Magic Dance has released instrumentals!! The vocals here are smooth however. I know The Midnight is one of the biggest/most popular synthwave acts, but I DON'T care for the singer altho he's good. But to me you sound bitter. Also, LOVE the beautiful album covers!! 💯😎🌴🌞❤🎹⭐🎛🪐 Shane Dangers
The perfect blend of naive enthusiasm and unfiltered rock 'n' roll danger, leading to an explosive, raw sound. Volcanic, pure, and crushing. Bandcamp New & Notable May 30, 2017
This EP has the power to transform every day into a John Hughes movie. A montage of cinematic romance distilled down to dreamy retrowave classics. Standing
